Volunteer with the Malta Male Cancer Support Association

You don’t need a medical background to make a difference.
You just need empathy, time, and the willingness to stand with men when it matters most.

At the Malta Male Cancer Support Association, volunteers are at the heart of everything we do. From offering a listening ear to helping organise events, raising awareness, or supporting campaigns, every role contributes to a stronger support system for men and their families facing cancer.

Why volunteer with us?

Because in Malta, too many men face cancer in silence.
Your time can help break stigma, reduce isolation, and make support more accessible when it’s needed most.

Ways you can help

You can get involved in a way that suits your skills, availability, and comfort level:

  • Peer support & outreach – helping men feel less alone
  • Awareness & advocacy – campaigns, talks, and community engagement
  • Events & fundraising – planning, logistics, on-the-day support
  • Communications & media – social media, storytelling, content creation.
  • Professional skills – therapy, legal, admin, design, IT, marketing, research

Whether you can give a few hours a month or want to be more actively involved, your contribution matters.

Who can volunteer?

  • Men and women of all ages
  • Cancer survivors, family members, allies, or anyone who cares
  • No prior experience required — training and guidance are provided

What you’ll gain

  • A sense of purpose and impact
  • Connection with a compassionate community
  • New skills and experiences
  • The knowledge that you helped someone feel supported when they needed it most

If you believe that no man should face cancer alone, we’d love to hear from you. Register your interest by filling in the form below, and a member of our team will be in touch.
